Grades K - 4
Budding Broadway KIDS...
Classes begin with exciting theatre warm-up activities and exercises. Many of our activities are musically oriented. Depending on the nature and age of the class, students then engage in the exploration of improvisation, musical theatre or scene study activities. Fundamental theatre skills such as diction, blocking, and stage directions plus vocal skills, and dance skills are reinforced throughout the rehearsals.
Our goal at OnStage is to provide a fun and creative, yet professional, environment where each child can tap into their imagination and creativity. We encourage kids to be different and to be themselves. The idea of “process drama” (where emphasis is placed solely on the instruction) is not our only focus. We are OnStage - we are about the application of instruction to the performance stage. So go ahead, read further and find a class just perfect for your child’s individual talents!
