In-Home Instruction
We offer a unique private curriculum that combines customized one-on-one instruction from your own home!
Why take private instruction in your own home?
Educators believe strongly that students advance more quickly and learn new skills by studying in a private setting. Plus, studies show that musical training improves math and reading skills, and results in higher S.A.T. scores. There are many other benefits which include improved discipline, social skills, teamwork and lots of self-confidence! So start your child early and get a jump on the benefits of the arts. Plus, you do not have to leave your home for your child to experience private instruction.
Why is OnStage different than other studios?
First, each member of our team of instructors has the ability to teach multiple styles of music including Musical Theatre, Classical, Jazz, and Commercial Music. All faculty members are OnStage certified, degreed, pursuing a degree, or have extensive careers in the Arts and are considered some of the best educators in the area.
Second, we interview each student (under 18 with parent) and together, the student and instructor, will customize a program of studio instruction to help the student meet his/her goals. The student is then given numerous opportunities to perform in the Black Box Theatre. Plus, we have one of the best Rewards Programs - STARKidz - in the region.
Adult students are placed with faculty members who specialize in adult instruction. *Please see the Adult Programs page for more information.
