Piano Lessons 
Research shows that listening to music from an early age is beneficial to the intellectual development of children and is proven to build a child's math and testing skills. Plus, Piano lessons are a great way to help promote good musicianship right from the beginning. They build a great foundation for other instruments as the student progresses to middle and high school age.
At OnStage we strive to create piano lessons that are exciting and imaginative in an educational atmosphere. We use a creative, customized instruction of technique, theory, and performance practices to help the student be as successful as possible. Plus, we offer a great Rewards Program for our younger kids - STARKidz - the best in the region! and a Certification Program for our Advanced.
5 & under should see the Pre-K Page!
5 & older Once a child can read a successful musical learning experience can take place. Based on the student's needs, a method book is chosen to assist in designing a specific curriculum to help the student move from beginning to advanced. Music theory, ear training, composition, and technical books such as Hanon are encouraged. We also use Piano Wizard, a piano game that teaches kids to read music!
OnStage Certification is a level achievement program used by the instructors at OnStage for the older students. As the student completes a level in piano, certificates and prizes are offered as rewards for hard work.
Advanced Students - Masterworks of Joplin, Chopin, Bach, Beethoven, and many more. Competitions and Arts Camps are always offered for the advanced student.
