We offer a unique private curriculum that combines customized one-on-one instruction with performance opportunities in a professional, artistic, & creative atmosphere.
Why take private instruction?
As OnStage we believe that students advance more quickly and learn new skills by studying in a private setting. Research shows that musical training improves math and reading skills, and results in higher S.A.T. scores. Plus, music can improve self-discipline, social skills, teamwork and give lots of self-confidence!

Which instruments/disciplines are available at OnStage Rhythm, Rock, and Blues?
Private lessons are available in the following areas:
*Acoustic / Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums & Percussion, Piano / Keyboard, Vocals, and Songwriting
*in increments of 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes, or 120 minutes.
*for the beginner or advanced musician.

Guitar Lessons
*can be taken in-home or in our South Charlotte Studio
Guitar lessons are a great way to learn music theory, ear training, and improvisation. If your child is interested in starting a rock band, performing open mic, or writing and singing songs with guitar accompaniment, OnStage lessons are for them!

Why take guitar at OnStage? Our guitar instructors are trained to offer quality lessons to all ages that are fun, inspiring, and creative. At OnStage we will teach the foundation of guitar techniques, unique rhythms to play any style, and cool tricks that will keep you interested in practicing.
Piano Lessons
Join us for piano lessons and master the skills needed to play any genre with any band. Learn to play your favorite songs as well as improvisation and music theory. Transcription, ear training, and building a well-rounded repertoire are all part of ourprivate lessons. Then join us in a band!
Students will learn essential drumming techniques that include important fundamentals such as how to play drums, drum related terms, how to hold the drumsticks, bass drum techniques, drum set posture, and simple drum set warm-ups. Music theory, writing, and performance are always part of our lessons.
We teach all styles of music from classical to country to heavy metal to rock!
