Theatre Lessons Perform
At OnStage, we believe that through the theatre students will develop personal skills to help them grow comfortable with their own voices, bodies, and ideas while developing social and interpersonal skills that help them to contribute successfully to their own communities.
Inspire
Theatre can change your child's life by nurturing in them the ability and desire to think critically and objectively, work collaboratively, build self-confidence, and become active members of society.
Studies by the National College Board show that students with at least four years of arts during their childhood have higher SAT scores. Plus, studies show that children who dramatize stories have higher reading comprehension scores than those who only read the story. (DuPont, 1992).
Dream
Imagine
Theatre also fills a basic need for physical activity in students.
At OnStage we have found that those students who are interested and involved in theatre and music become critical thinkers and problem solvers with great communication skills.
Our one-on-one instruction in theatre consist of teaching age appropriate monologues, choreography, song preparation, cold script reading, information about the business (including finding a qualified agent) and anything else to meet the student's specific goals. Plus, we offer a great Rewards Program for the younger kids- STARKidz and OnStage Certification for the older students.
Plus, It's just fun!
